She is really random and fun person so don't be scared to talk to her. :] Sometimes, she is really slow with jokes and will not understand it, especially if it's a perverted joke. She doesn't sleep at night and will be late to almost every event because she just woke up.

History

  • Key Club is Born

The Key Club concept was introduced to Kiwanians by Frank C. Vincent in the February 1925 issue of The Kiwanis Magazine. This idea was supported by those who were worried about the pernicious side of high school fraternities. The first Key Club meeting was held in Sacramento in May 1925.

  • The Fervor Spreads

The Sacramento Key Club inspired other Kiwanis groups to sponsor similar organizations in their own communities. The administrators of the Sacramento Key Club talked of the club, and even published a few articles on its activities. Principles in many parts of the country started organizing similar groups. By the late nineteen thirties, fifty Key Clubs were in operation.

  • Key Clubs Unite

A plan for combining individual Key Clubs into federated groups was developed in Florida. A convention of existing clubs was held, a state association formed, and officers elected. The purpose of the State Association was to promote an exchange of ideas and to increase the number of Key Clubs. Conventions were held each succeeding year.

  • Around the World

At the 1943 Sanford State Convention, representatives voted to form an International Association of Key Clubs. Three more years followed during which the outlines of the present Key Club International were drawn. Key Club International officially launched in the third annual convention in New Orleans on April 27, 1946.

  • Looking Forward

Key Club continues to grow rapidly. There are now clubs located throughout North America and the Caribbean area. In these groups, thousands of students are receiving training in leadership and service. Districts of today are patterned after the original Florida District and its parent Kiwanis districts. These organizations hold their own annual conventions to exchange ideas on Key Clubbing, and to recognize outstanding clubs or individuals.
